Tonight is the opening night of the Iroquois County Fair, the undisputed best county fair in Illinois (undisputed only if you ask me.) Do you have any county fair memories as a kid?
We’ll have more on state campaign finance reports for subscribers tomorrow, but the one you’re going to hear about a lot today is the failed campaign of Paul Vallas for Mayor spending over $3.6 million between April 1 and June 30. Ouch.

SUPREME COURT TO RULE ON SAFE-T ACT THIS MORNING
The fate of Illinois’ controversial law ending cash bail in state courts is expected to be announced by the Illinois Supreme Court this morning.
