We’re going to be deep-diving into some legislative races over the next couple of weeks, hopefully starting for paid subscribers tomorrow. There’s a lot more to some of these races than money, which is likely all you’re going to get out of a lot of outlets.
There’s nothing on Governor Pritzker’s public schedule today.

WILL COURT RULING ON SLATING ACTUALLY ELECT A REPUBLICAN?
When the Illinois Supreme Court ruled Friday a hastily-passed Democratic measure this spring banning the “slating” of legislative candidates couldn’t apply to the November election, it cleared the way for at least ten Republicans to appear on November ballot.
