Happy August, arguably the worst weather month in Illinois. (You’ll get your humid with a side of humid.) The good news? It’s 32 days until Illinois football kicks off and 40 days until the Bears begin the regular season. Fall is coming. Have faith.

Governor JB Pritzker responded Monday to complaints about a new law allowing certain immigrants to become police officers in Illinois.
