Crain’s Chicago Business political columnist and reporter Greg Hinz announced yesterday he’ll be semi-retiring from Crain’s. We wish him the best.
We are 76 days from the first day of petition filing in Springfield. There are 189 days until the March primary and 420 days to the November 5, 2024 General Election. But who’s counting?
There’s nothing on the Governor’s public schedule today. The General Assembly doesn’t return to Springfield until the end of next month.

PRITZKER’S NEW CHINA ISSUE
When Governor JB Pritzker stood on a stage with executives from Chinese manufacturer Gotion Friday, he attempted to play up the new jobs and new electric vehicle manufacturing coming to Illinois.
But, Pritzker’s office announced in tandem that Gotion can receive some $330 million in incentives, some eyes started peering at who Gotion is.
