Good morning, subscribers.
The Farm Progress Show opens in Decatur this morning. If you aren't familiar, it's basically the small town hoe down of the year. The number of pickup trucks in the state for the week has certainly tripled (probably not.)
Seriously, though, many of you know I spent a lot of years working in the ag sector, and the Farm Progress Show was always the coolest.
Governor Pritzker will be announcing a mental health initiative at the Farm Progress Show at 11:30.
Let's get to it.

It does not appear a seeming quest by Chicago White Sox owner Jerry Reinsdorf to secure public money for a new, or significantly renovated ballpark is being met with open arms in Springfield.
“Dead on arrival,” one top legislator categorized the idea. “Not gonna happen.”
