Good morning, subscribers.
I was on “State Week” on NPR Illinois yesterday with Sean Crawford and Charlie Wheeler. You can listen to that here.
I’m heading down to the Metro East this morning to put eyes on the 112th and 114th House races as well as a likely catch-up with Congresswoman Nikki Budzinski (D-Springfield). We’ll be sending missives from the campaign trail for you all weekend.
Meanwhile, we’re still trying to finalize our coverage plan for Tuesday. I don’t know that we’ll be able to do the full-on livestream we did in the spring because we don’t have the resources to gather results in real time and the Associated Press has been less than helpful in sharing theirs. Let me know what you think at patrick@theillinoize.com.
There’s nothing on the Governor’s official schedule today and his campaign has not released a schedule.
