Two days to go.
It’s a rainy Sunday morning in Springfield and I’m headed up to the Quad Cities and LaSalle County to get back on the trail today. We had a fun day spending 13 hours in Madison and St. Clair Counties yesterday.
It should be noted House candidate LaToya Greenwood asked for a selfie yesterday and posted it on her campaign Facebook page yesterday. I don’t have to tell you, but just for the record, it’s not an indication of endorsement or support or anything like that. I’ll take a photo with anyone.
The Governor’s official schedule is clear today. His campaign said he was in North Carolina yesterday, but they haven’t told me where he is today.
Let’s get to it.
114TH REMATCH WEIGHS ON TURNOUT IN SPLIT DISTRICT
MASCOUTAH- LaToya Greenwood was not in friendly territory.
On a sunny Saturday afternoon three days before Election Day, Greenwood knocked on doors in Mascoutah, a city of around 9,000 in St. Clair County that overwhelmingly supported Donald Trump in the 2020 election.
