BREAKING: Sen. Scott Bennett in hospitalized following apparent stroke
Sen. Scott Bennett (D-Champaign) was taken to an Urbana hospital this morning after suffering what is believed to be a stroke.
Carle Foundation Hospital has not disclosed his condition at this hour. We’re being told it is believed to be serious.
Bennett, 45, was appointed to the Senate in 2015. He has a wife and two children.
