BREAKING: Energy deal reached

I’m told a deal has been reached on an energy bill that would keep nuclear plants operated by Exelon, the parent company of Commonwealth Edison, open and operating.

I assume we’ll see an amendment shortly, but it looks like Governor Pritzker pulled back on his insistence for a carbon tax. Not sure where the subsidies for Exelon came down, though last I …
